Installation Instructions PortfolioCenter Standalone
In this configuration, all the program components are on the same computer.

Note: For detailed, step-by-step instructions for most tasks, see Installing PortfolioCenter 4.41 as a Standalone.
Before Starting the Installation
| 1 | Make sure the operating system on the machine is supported by PortfolioCenter. See Operating Systems for a list of supported operating systems. |
| 2 | Temporarily disable any third-party anti-virus or firewall software. Some of these applications can increase the time spent during installation because they rely on your input for several steps. |
| 3 | Make sure PortfolioCenter is closed. |
Step 1. Install PortfolioCenter
| 11 | Login to the computer as a user with administrative rights. |
| 12 | Insert the installation disk, and when the menu displays, click Install PortfolioCenter to start the installation. |
| 13 | Follow the instructions in the install wizard. When asked for the setup type, select Standalone. |
| 14 | When the installation is complete, click Finish. |
Step 2. Login to PortfolioCenter
| 21 | When the installation is complete, open PortfolioCenter and login with the following (shown below):
|
| 22 | At this point, no serial numbers have been entered, so you are asked if you want to enter one. Click Yes. |

|
| 24 | Repeat for all serial numbers you need to enter, and then click Close to enter PortfolioCenter. You should see a dataset with no portfolios. |
