We continue to enhance PortfolioCenter to improve your user experience. Release 5.10 makes it easy to export billing data to other systems and mass update billing records. In addition, this upgrade provides richer data from the new Schwab Broker Dealer Core Data files and shortens processing times for share reconciliation reports and intervals helping you gather and share information more quickly than ever.
New Billing Features
With the new billing history data export, you will be able to extract extended billing information, including custom fields, cash balances and portfolio values, and use it in your CRM, in-house accounting system, spreadsheets, or database applications to perform deeper analyses. Other time-saving enhancements let you easily delete erroneous billing runs and create bulk updates to the "Paid" indicator.
Schwab Core Data and Scalability Improvements
Support for the Schwab Core Data file format means you can count on more detailed information, and spend less time making manual adjustments or corrections. These files allow for better reporting of bond maturity dates and interest rates, greater accuracy in security type identification, more reliable cost basis information, and more.
In addition, scalability improvements allow you to save time running share reconciliation reports and intervals.
Please note: The Schwab Core Data file formats have been added to your Schwab Data Delivery downloads. For users upgrading from PortfolioCenter 5.8 or earlier, version 5.10 will automatically accept the Core Data Files. If you are upgrading from PortfolioCenter 5.9 and have elected to continue using an older file format, you should manually change your settings after upgrading to take advantage of the Core Data files. If you are unable to see the files in your Schwab interface, contact our Technical Client Services team for assistance.
